It is the duty of every
wise man to deliberate and contemplate on this important question. Amongst
the obstructing constituents of the important work of immediately pushing out
series of calamities causing ‘Pralaya’, there appear two wrong beliefs
which are great obstacles. The first is the belief prevailing from a long
time in the Hindu religion according to which “it is the God only who is
the creator, sustainer and destroyer of the universe”; whereas in
accordance with the second belief “Mainly, God only incarnates
himself in order to reduce the burden on earth.” Because of these, people
consider Pralaya normal and only a necessary phenomenon destined by God. As regards the first
belief it suffices to say that, in fact, ‘Parabrahm Ishwar’ is not the creator or destroyer
of universe, he is merely the sustainer. In accordance with the laws of
nature, universe comes into existence and is created and gets worn
out and ultimately dissolved by nature itself. Whereas the power of causing destruction in between
is ‘Avidya-Maya’ (opposite power of God) and its forces. ‘Parbrahm
Ishwar’ is only the sustainer and that too mostly through moral and spiritual
means. It is true that incidentally, the incarnations of ‘Parbrahm
Ishwar’- Bhagwan Shri Ramchandraji and Shri Krishna Parmatma in view of
their having taken birth in warrior class, had engaged themselves in
wars or advised them in performance of true duty,
engagement in judicious reign of states for protection of ‘Dharma’ and
morality because of inevitable circumstances, in their natural motiveless
fervour absorbed in ‘Brahm’, but
these occasions are exceptions and not rules. Hence, even though ‘ParBrahm Ishwar’ takes birth for removal of sufferings
of the people born through
ignorance, by establishing of ‘Sat-Dharma’, yet it is not established
that He can do this work only violence. The through examples of Shri Kapil
Bhagwan, compassion-incarnate Shri Buddha Bhagwan, uplifter of
‘Dharma’ Shri Ishu Bhagwan (Jesus Chrisr), Incarnation of love Shri Chaitanya
Mahaprabhuji and Satyayuga-dharni Shri Ramkrishna Parmatma are enough. From this it will be possible to see that there is no real relation of true incarnation of ‘ParaBrahm Ishwar’ as performer of violence or ‘Pralaya’. ‘Parbrahm Ishwar does not incarnate to literally lessen the burden of earth and hence the question of violence is out of place. The purpose of incarnation of God is lighten the terrified hearts and mind of mankind by removing through his power of truth the forces of 'Maya' and 'Avidya' which have taken grip of the human hearts, by removing through true knowledge the wrong beliefs established in the psychology of mankind, by His sacred and divine sport. Violence, however, makes people dependant on destiny or inhumanity. | ||||
