PRINCIPLES OF TRUTH :

A brief surmise of the principle observing truth as explained by Rev. Prabhushree is given below :

OBSERVANCE OF TRUTH BY MIND-WORD-DEED (THOUGHT, WORD, AND BEHAVIOUR) :

Observance of truth should be always be practised by mind, word and deed. That is, whole truth should be observed through thought, word and behaviour. For example, the service performed by son for further with the intention of getting his wealth is true through behaviour but untrue through mind. Many such examples can be given in which language is true but in practice it is untrue.

Always observance of truth should be done by mind, word and deed. That is, WHOLE TRUTH SHOULD BE OBSERVED BY THOUGHT, WORD AND BEHAVIOUR, or if true in mind, it may be untrue in social relations. In short, when truth is followed by all the three viz. by mind, word and deed then only it can be said that truth is completely followed. That is why Rev. Prabhushree has said in the prayer that He has composed (for daily recital) that, “IN MY WORD, THOUGHT AND BEHAVIOUR LET THERE NOT BE ANY INCONSISTENCY. LET THERE NOT BE ANY DISHARMONY

THREE TYPES OF TRUTHS :

DEVOTED TO OBJECT, DEVOTED TO PROMISE, DEVOTED TO VOW:

Truth ‘devoted to an object’ means whatever one has seen, known or experienced about an object or subject should be told in exactly the same manner to others in social dealings. To tell more or less is untruth. Many people for their own publicity, or from fear, or under compulsion tell more of less than what they have actually seen, known or experienced.

Truth ‘devoted to promise’ means to whatever one has promised to someone else at whatever cost. Promise may be either small or big, but there should be complete devotion in adhering to it. If promise is given in secret, even then it should also be followed up even when circumstances are changed. For example, in common social dealings when appointment is given to someone, then it should adhered to for the sake of remaining devoted to truth even though it may be small matter. Similarly, after having given a promise secretly when no witnesses are present should be followed up in adverse circumstances also. (The seat of SAKSHIGOPAL i.e. the seat of witness God Gopal near Jagannath temple in Orissa in Eastern India is the highest example of such a case.)

Truth ‘devoted to vow’ means to follow up completely small or big vows or ‘Niyam’ one has decided to observe in life. In spirituality, vows and ‘Niyams’ have a very significant importance. But, in secluded life also, one should go on observing small ‘Niyams’. For example, small ‘Niyams’ (rules) like ‘Niyam’ of watering the trees, ‘Niyam’ of feeding grains to pigeons and ‘Niyams’ for maintenance of one’s health. Observance of small ‘Niyams’ helps strengthen the observance of major ‘Niyams’. Observance of major ‘Niyams’ is to be maintained unbroken at any place and time. However, there can be exception to the ‘Niyams’.
